Ex-Ex-Recall? Looks Like It

Y'know, I could just swear I heard somebody from CRC say they didn't want to recall the school board. Yes, it comes back to me now. Back when their URL was www.recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com, I heard one of their members tell the school board, to their face, something like, "We don't want to recall you, that's just the name of the web site." As I remember, at least one school board member laughed out loud at that one. And I remember reading it in The Gazette, a long time ago, somebody saying, "I do not wish to recall the school board. I know a number of them, and they are in a very difficult position."

And then you remember the big hubbub, when they got the "new" web site, and said, see, we don't want to recall the school board, we've got a different name now. And thus they became the Ex-Recall group.

And then the Recall group split off again, and re-opened the Recall site (but it was never the same). So there were two, Recall and Ex-Recall, and Ex-Recall, now calling themselves CRC, swore they didn't have anything to do with those guys who wanted to recall the school board.

Totally separate, they said. We love the school board, we don't want to recall them.

So you wonder why their secretary is still using the Recall email address. If you go to the Recall bulletin board, you'll see a posting dated May 19th, 2005 -- just two weeks ago -- attributed to:
Theresa Rickman theresa.rickman@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

People wonder, is CRC the same as RecallMontgomerySchoolBoard.com, or do they just overlap?

Like, I wonder if somebody sent email to firstname.lasname@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com, using some different names of people who have said they don't want to recall the school board... would that email bounce back? Or are they still, quietly, maintaining the Recall identity? Please, don't do it, I was just wondering. You know what the answer is.

You mean like the below:

michelle.turner@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

john.garza@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

theresa.rickman@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

ben.patton@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

steve.fisher@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

Interesting...I bet after today the email addresses just might change.

And I thought they said they did not want to "recall the school board." Imagine that one not being entirely true in their own email addresses as it appears through Rickman's.

What are the odd of hers being the only one? Pretty slim I would say.

Jim, No, no, these are just the only e:mail addresses they could get- nothing else was available- it doesn't mean what it says. You are so suspicious of those fine people. I know if the Ex-Recall- or actually current Recall- by their e:mail addresses- say something it is true- such as how they had no idea the hateful, homophobic filth that would be spewed by their speakers at the "town hall" meeting or that there was no lawsuit planned or how they had no representation on the CAC. Lies are Truth-they must all read Orwell's 1984- or is that on the PABBIS list?

Violating protocol? What, Liberty Counsel told you not to post at TTF blog? Good move, very clever, don't say anything and you won't say anything wrong.

Teresa,
Are you sure you want to use that word "evolution"?- I am quite sure that will be the next move for your "local" parents group - after we get real health ed back into the schools and health ed classes that our kids actually attend.

Theresa, below, in the "on balance" post, I note that CRC is a local group, but PFOX and LC certainly aren't. And while you may be technically right to say that you are "parents," you do not seem to be mostly parents of MCPS students. So when Steve Fisher says stuff like "We encourage their input, but when it comes down to it, the parents should have the final decision," well, it is a little misleading.

Is he saying that anyone who has ever had a child (or I assume, adopted one) should have the right to decide what is taught in the schools? Clearly, by hisuse of the first person, he does not mean that the parents of the students in the classes should decide. His kids to go private school, and besides, the rest of you will opt your kids out of the health class anyway. So it is not clear what you guys mean when you use the word "parents."

Seem the infamous Recall (CRC) message board (THE ORIGINAL RECALL SITE)http://www.recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com/

that outed Recall members with email addresses like below:

theresa.rickman@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com)

is now noting the following:
"This board has been taken offline"

Recall said it very well on their message board with exposed email addresses like:

michelle.turner@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

john.garza@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

theresa.rickman@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

ben.patton@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

steve.fisher@recallmontgomeryschoolboard.com

I guess pulling the message board was all they had left to do since they pretended they had nothing to do with that board....BUT....

Lo and behold...another Recall fib.

How is that for Waa...Waa....?
