Light Blogging for Spring Break

Hey, right now I'm sitting in an Internet cafe in Amesbury, England. I've been busily vacationing in London and here in the Southwest corner of the country, having a great time but I haven't been anywhere near an Internet connection.

I doubt there will be anything new on the Vigilance blog during MCPS spring break ... it's possible that some hotel that advertises "wireless" will actually have it in the room I'm staying in, but generally I'm having too much fun goofing off to blog a lot.

Don't worry, we'll light a fire under 'em when I get back.

Enjoy your vacation. Everyone needs a break once in a while.

Sounds like fun...have some fish and chips, and don't forget to wash it down with some Guinness (that is, if you like dark/strong beer).

Thanks guys -- this is the first real vacation I've had in I don't know how long -- it's not a conference or a seminar, just fun with the family. Orin, I'll tell you, a nice lukewarm pint of Worthington's goes great after a terrifying day of driving the two-lane highways of Wiltshire on the wrong side of the road! It kinda takes the white out of my knuckles after gripping that steering wheel.

Now we're back in London, and will play here for another day before heading back to The Grind.

Alex ... I doubt that TTF is going to branch out into Temperance advocacy. At least, I really don't see myself as a good spokesman for that cause. It's OK with me if a guy of legal age has a beer at the end of the day.
