Gender Rights Bill Passes in Baltimore County

And it includes public accommodations.

Tuesday night, approximately 6 PM:
TOWSON, Md. (WMAR) - Baltimore County Council has passed their human rights bill with a vote of 5 to 2.

The legislation had a series of heated hearings over the last month, but passed through the council tonight.

The bill adds gender identity and sexual orientation to the existing human relations laws. It is designed to prevent discrimination against transgender people in housing, employment, education, financing or public accommodations.

The only two council members that voted against the bill were Councilman Todd Huff and Councilman David Marks.

The bill comes about one year after the beating of Chrissy Polis, a transgender woman at a Rosedale McDonald's. Transgender bill passes through Council

Amen!

Now the Crissy Polises of the world, along with all other transfolk can pee just like everyone else does, in a rest room that matches their own gender identity.

Baltimore County will be the latest jurisdiction to once again prove the fear mongering of the showernuts was just that, fear mongering. Just like has been the case in Montgomery County, Baltimore City, and all other jurisdictions that have approved gender identity and expression nondiscrimination bills that include public accommodations before, no girls or women will be harmed in Baltimore County because trans women will now be allowed to pee in the ladies room and trans men will be allowed to pee in the mens room.

Further, all the showernuts will still be allowed to practice whatever religion they choose. If one of their religion's commandments is "Thou shalt not pee in the same room as transgender folks do," they might have to pee only in those places where they can limit who else pees there.

So apparently Baltimore County Council members think what happened to Crissy Polis was just fine, there should be no way to try to prevent animals from attacking trans folk, and they should just let the criminal justice system jail the animals after they attack a trans woman for peeing in the ladies room.

Idiots!

Now real women can start screaming that there are men in the bathrooms! law will not hold up in a court of law. Legislative history will not define what public accommodations really are or what constitutes a fake women!

"Real ladies" can scream all they want when trans men, who showernuts refer to as "real ladies," are forced to use the ladies restrooms and ladies locker rooms too. Then "real ladies" like can thank the showernuts like Ruth M. Jacobs, MD, for putting trans men in the same public accommodations with them and their daughters.

CBSNews reports the bill as written says "those who are transgender can use the restroom of their choice."
