Recall group member Ellen Castellano, trying to explain to the Montgomery County Board of Education why their website is called "RecallMontgomerySchoolBoard.com", Jan. 11, 2005:
Uh, yeah, we don't want to recall the school board, we just called it that for, y'know, no reason, really.
(This was before recall group leader Michelle Turner explained to the school board that she was sorry members of their group had threatened the board, and how she hoped they could still work together.)
We couldn't make this stuff up.
And by the way, we are not what's...at CRC, trying to recall you. That just happened to be the name of the um website that was originally started. I just wanted to make this public record. Thank you.

And I thought people had to name their own website- how unfair that this group was forced to take one called Recall the School Board. I know that on the first website and in meetings, members of the "CRC" group called for a recall of the board and asked Montgomery County legislators how the board could be recalled. But obviously despite their actions, their own words and the name of their website- they did not want to recall the board. Yes, I understand now.
