Threat Update

The person who threatened to harass me at work has apparently rescinded the threat. I also talked with my supervisor and with legal staff, and am confident that I am not in violation of any policies or regulations in my workplace. So I will continue to blog during the day if something comes up.

Thanks for the word, Kay. It's funny, there is a code of honor on the Internet. For instance, I could have deleted the post the other day about the resources not being in the curriculum ... but you don't do that, you don't pretend you didn't say something, even though it is easy to sanitize your past. Another thing you don't do is mess with somebody's private life, no matter how much you don't like what they say. I am hoping this sort of thing doesn't come up again.

Heh. It's too easy to just coast over here and shoot you down.

Of course, if you thought all along that you were in the right, then why did you back down in the first place?

I would guess so Jim could come back and clean your clock "Gleeful" for getting involved.

Makes sense to me since you were thoughtful enough to care in the first place...Jim obliged and thoughtfully checked it out.

Jim is a nice guy...you know.

RT -- you couldn't even catch my knuckleball. And I can just see how mad you'd get trying to swing at it.

Jamie, I don't need stupid stuff happening at work. I have a lot to do, and don't want to spend my day explaining why crazy people are calling. Sure, it's easy to shoot me down, or anybody else -- it's like when you're eleven years old, and you realize walking down the sidewalk you could just stick out a knife and kill somebody. Woo-hoo, wouldn't that be something to be proud of. So hey, you can blackmail a guy off a blog, yeah, that's big, man.

Jim, I have not, did not, and will not blackmail you.

Is that clear enough?

Jamie, leave it where it's at. You went over the line. I'm not pressing it, I suggest you don't.

If you're going to delete my denials, then delete your accusations.

Mr. Gleeful McDonald,

I just thought you'd like to know that there is more than one moderator here and all of us see all the letters sent via the contact us function here at our website.

If as you stated in your email to info@teachthefacts.org yesterday, "All of that is just to say that the apology is genuine," then cease and desist with your denials. An apology is an admission of guilt. Denials after a semipublic apology are rather useless.

Are possible referring to Jamie MCDonald member of ExRecall(CRC)?

The things that people do to fill their time. Jim, I had no clue someone found you so enticing to get involved in your personl business and then scoot right over to trying to cause trouble for you at work.

That's very nice. You've got my last name too. Woohoo!

You're quite resourceful. Oh, wait. You're not. It's printed on my blog.

Now, about that proof...

Yes, about that proof...

Would you like me to post the email you sent to info@teachthefacts.org the day before you sent your apology? I'd be happy to if you insist.

Sheesh!

Still waiting, by the way.

I'm sure you're all just away fishing.

Or it could be that you suddenly realized that you were operating on assumptions and don't, in fact, have proof of anything.
